THEOplayer is looking for high-performing business developers (multiple positions) to help us meet our ambitious growth objectives in the online video industry.
The role reports to the VP, Sales & Partnerships and will involve managing an active customer pipeline and closing new business to deliver exceptional revenue growth in our fast-growing global industry.
The business developer role is responsible for positioning and closing deals with prospective customers in new markets. This will include formulating new market sales tactics, pipeline management, deal development and qualification, articulating the THEOplayer value proposition, guiding prospects in their decision process, and ultimately gaining commitment to the deal.
The online video market is a market growing at lightning speed. THEOplayer plays a pivotal role in the evolving video landscape and is a recognised market leader in the HTML5 player domain. In both 2016 and 2017 THEOplayer won the Streaming Media Reader's Choice Award in the Video Player category, confirming its game changing role.
The company literally has more leads than it can handle right now, so there will be minimal cold calling. Target clients will be telecommunications service providers, online video publishers, broadcasters and content producers across all regions of the world.
