And this is just the beginning… To support our exponential growth, we are looking for a Head of Talent to strengthen our organization. Our people are our most valuable assets in the company. Growing these people, both in numbers and in skillset, is a crucial part of scaling a company. As Head of Talent, you will play a crucial role in hiring the best and brightest to further grow the team, as well as in coaching existing team members to grow their personal skillsets and help them set and achieve their career goals.

Duties & Responsabilities 

  • As a key member of the team, you will need to build strong relationships within the organization to be able to understand and execute effective hiring funnels.
  • Identify and deploy best practices for recruitment with a focus on operational excellence: evolve internal processes, ensuring consistent candidate experience, job descriptions, interview techniques, and evaluate/develop/train the tools for the team.
  • You will coach team members across the organization and other leaders on best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Employer Branding: build a cohesive talent acquisition vision encompassing the branding/attraction of diverse, values-aligned talent at all levels (campus to executive).
  • Organize recruitment events to attract the best talents from universities.
  • Identify cost effective, high quality hiring channels for building talent pipelines for each key area of the business and source candidates using databases and social media.
  • Research, evaluate and manage external recruitment agencies.
  • Onboard new employees in our company.
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve talent retention, including developing training, development, and growth programs to maximize employee production.
  • Act as a trusted coach and advisor to employees to increase happiness and job satisfaction.
  • Organize career planning and performance reviews within the company.
  • Work closely together with the management team to identify employee needs and guaranteeing an A+ team and a pleasant work environment.
  • Promote a continuous learning culture throughout the company and develop employees.
  • Oversee and manage employee company policies.
  • Organize team events and fun activities.
  • Provide full HR generalist support and communicate with payroll on new hires and changes in contracts. You will be supported by our finance team and external payroll administration partner SD Worx for administration needs.
  • You will support leadership with a number of office management activities: e.g. you partner with travel office, you ensure everything is available in the working environment to set up the teams for success.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent management or HR role.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
  • You must have the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels and work quickly to establish their trust.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes.
  • A good knowledge of effective talent management; particularly acquisition and retention, performance management and talent planning.
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Proven track record of creating and building a dynamic team.
  • A creative self-starter .
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Have the ability to take ownership and accountability for your work and manage to deliver success.
  • Adept at and comfortable managing through frequent change.
  • Are a team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
