How you'll make a difference

The Online Marketing Manager will report directly to the VP of Marketing and works closely with the team in supporting all online marketing initiatives, goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated marketer dedicated to all things online lead generation. The life of an Online Marketing Manager at THEOplayer 

  • Grow the brand's online presence via digital activity in paid, earned and owned channels.
  • Create and implement a strategy to drive brand awareness, acquisition, and sales across all digital channels.
  • Plan, build, manage, optimize and report on search marketing campaigns (paid & organic).
  • Work closely with the product marketing to understand product direction and uncover customer insights that will help advance digital strategy.
  • Provide thought leadership, identify trends and implement best practices for digital marketing, including: analytics, SEM/SEO, display, remarketing, email marketing, social media marketing and content marketing.
  • Work cross functionally to support key product launches, corporate campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Day-to-day management of all digital programs and campaigns.
  • Provide reporting & data analyses to problem solve, identify opportunities and communicate key performance trends to the organization.
  • Monitor competitive practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance.
  • Manage a continuous conversion optimization process designed to maximize the performance of THEOplayer’s demand generation programs.
  • Develop and manage the testing strategy for landing pages, ads, registration forms and other assets used by our demand generation programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, and deadline-driven environment.

To be successful you need:

  • At least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience optimizing demand generation campaigns in order to meet aggressive business growth goals
  • At least 5 years of experience managing optimization processes and A/B and multivariate testing of ads and landing pages on large transactional websites
  • A passion for online B2B marketing and SaaS
  • Proven record of success and accountability for seeing projects from start to completion
  • A confident and proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task while driving results
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in editing, proofing, writing and design concepts
  • Strong understanding of website performance drivers, and the ability to use data to drive fundamental web engagement strategies
  • Very strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Good HTML and CSS skills, and experience with best practices for landing page design
  • Live and breathe Google Analytics, Search Console, AdWords and Display Network
  • Experience effectively managing paid search and creative agencies
  • WordPress experience a definite plus
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
