How you'll make a difference:

As a QA Test Engineer at THEOplayer, you will be responsible for assuring the quality of software products which will be used by hundreds of companies and millions of end-users worldwide. In a structured and organized way, you will define and periodically execute a full testing plan for every major customer. Working together with the product team and developers, you will ensure that functional requirements align with customer demands as well as that the developed software matches these requirements prior to the delivery to end-customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Testing of software products from start to finish.

  • Ensuring testing and documentation is on par with functional requirements.
  • Verifying whether all customer requirements are optimally met.
  • Work efficiently in lean agile teams.
  • Be comfortable in working in short timeboxed sprints, pair programming, daily standups, test-driven development.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 6+ months of experience in setting up and executing a structured testing plan for individual customers.

  • Ability to look at automated tests and identify gaps in tested requirements.

  • Willingness to work together with technical experts in writing functional requirements.

  • Ability to read and understand simple JavaScript, Java or Swift code.

  • Identify potential pitfalls in functional requirements.

  • Be able and willing to understand customers use cases.

  • Good English documentation writing skills.

  • Willingness to grow in the role by learning to reproduce customers issues or development of simple automated tests.
