Job Description

THEO Technologies is looking for high-performing Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to help us meet our ambitious growth objectives in the online video industry.

The (SDR) reports to the SDR Team lead and is responsible for generating sales leads through inbound and outbound campaigns, daily prospecting, increasing the sales pipeline, prospect qualification, and delivering assigned monthly sales revenue targets. The role also includes engaging with potential prospects and identifying and developing qualified opportunities/leads. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills are a must.

The SDR role is a critical component of the THEO Technologies sales methodology and is key to the continued success of the company. As an SDR you will focus entirely on the front-end of the sales process and be responsible for developing and qualifying good leads for our company and setting qualified appointments for our account executives (AE’s). In order to accomplish your goals, you will leverage all available lead generation tools, events, programs and more, to identify and pre-qualify potential leads for the sales team. An SDR will engage prospects over different communication platforms (E-mail, InMail, Sales Navigator messaging) and via multiple approaches (outbound & inbound) and at times face to face (at industry events), to qualify the opportunity for the next steps in the engagement cycle. Target clients will include Telecommunications Service Providers, Online video publishers, Broadcasters and Content Producers across all regions of the world.

Your profile

  • Good understanding of the media, broadcasting or telecommunication industry is a plus.
  • You have previous lead generation experience and experience working in an outbound or inbound position using e-mail and other social media platforms.
  • You are results-driven, persistent, organized and motivated to increase earnings despite rejection.
  • You have excellent self and time management skills and you can work independently.
  • You are detail oriented and can work with different software tools such as Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft Products, CRM, etc.
  • You understand the dynamics of an international fast-growing scale-up.
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor and enthusiasm are necessary.
  • You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills in general.

Your Responsibilities as SDR:

  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting efforts as well as following up on marketing generated leads.
  • Responsible for identifying relevant leads and help qualifying as the initial point of engagement with THEO Technologies.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards; recommend improved policies and procedures.
  • Conduct a large volume of outbound e-mails to customers and prospects to gather information and initiate the first step in identifying those interested parties in learning more about the company’s products and services.
  • Work daily with our CRM to adopt accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to sales department best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Reporting to management on regular bases.
