THEOplayer is looking for an experienced technical marketeer to help us meet our ambitious growth objectives in the online video industry.
The role reports to the marketing manager and assists in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts in order to deliver exceptional revenue growth in our fast-growing global industry. 

The technical marketeer works closely with the sales and marketing team in supporting all online marketing initiatives, goals and objectives. The candidate is interested in the latest growth hacking techniques, has experience with marketing automation and knows her or his way around a CMS system. Basic programming skills allow the technical marketeer to create responsive webpages and engaging websites. Finally, the candidate has a high affection with online advertising, social media, statistics, A/B testing, conversion rates, campaign performance with a focus of generating high quality leads.

In 2017 THEOplayer won the Streaming Media Reader's Choice Award in the Video Player /SDK category, confirming its game changing role.

The successful candidate has experience in the IPTV, OTT, broadcast and/or publishing market, history of strategic account management and with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the lead generation cycle from online targeting to pre-qualified lead on our marketing automation platform.
  • Build engaging webpages using basic coding skills.
  • Create sales funnels and guide prospects through the buyer journey.
  • Plan, build, manage, optimise and report on online marketing campaigns.
  • Implement best practices for digital marketing, including: analytics, SEM, SEO, SEA, display, remarketing, email marketing, social media marketing and content marketing.
  • Monitor competitive practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance.
  • Develop and manage the testing strategy for landing pages, ads, registration forms and other assets used by our demand generation programs.
  • Participate in product, marketing and sales training programs to achieve your potential.
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the marketing manager
  • Bring your experience and ideas to advance our company's vision for the future.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Basic HTML, CSS and Javascript skills.
  • Experience with a CMS system, by preference Hubspot.
  • Knowing the online video industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in online marketing. Ideally in SaaS, enterprise software or video/streaming platforms.
  • Proven track record of B2B marketing success in SEM, SEO, SEA, display, remarketing, email marketing, social media marketing, analytics and content marketing.
  • Sharp focus on achieving goals.
  • Ability to understand and familiarise quickly with technical products.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Understand the dynamics of an international fast-growing scale-up.
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor and enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: courteous, well spoken and polished.
