Amino Technologies and THEO Technologies Join Forces to Deliver Ultra-Low Latency Live Video Streaming with Amino H200 and THEOlive
by Bart Van Oosterhout on June 14, 2023
InfoComm Show 2023, Orlando, Jun. 14, 2023 - Amino, a leading provider of enterprise video and digital signage solutions, is proud to announce its collaboration with THEO Technologies to deliver an end-to-end sub-second latency live video streaming solution. The collaboration combines Amino's state-of-the-art Amino H200 4K media player with THEOlive, a real-time video API, which leverages the High Efficiency Streaming Protocol (HESP) for extensive scaling.
The Amino H200 and THEOlive integration, offers a secure, scalable, and ultra-low latency video streaming experience for LAN and internet video playback applications. This powerful combination is particularly beneficial for in-venue streaming at sporting events and entertainment venues, as well as environments such as betting shops, where real-time information is crucial, and customers require access to numerous low latency real-time video streams.
One noteworthy aspect of the Amino THEOlive solution is its ability to seamlessly integrate with digital signage CMS applications running on the Amino H200 media player. This integration enables dynamic point-of-service environments within stadia, both inside and outside, to take full advantage of the technology. Moreover, the solution supports 4K video transmission in corporate suites and enterprise settings, catering to the evolving demands of high-quality video streaming.
Jonny McKee, Director of Product Management at Amino said: “The partnership between Amino and THEO Technologies showcases our commitment to innovation and meeting the demands of today's video streaming landscape. With the integration of THEOlive into the Amino H200 media player, users can expect enhanced video streaming experiences with reduced latency, improved scalability, studio-approved DRM content encryption and robust security measures.”
Steven Tielemans, CEO of THEO Technologies said: "We are proud to team up with Amino Technologies to deliver high-quality real-time video on Amino H200 devices. Our combined solution is a true game changer for sports, sportsbooks and interactive experiences. Our goal is to make real-time streaming at scale easy, and this partnership will further enable this.
Amino will be demonstrating the latest features of the H200 at InfoComm 2023 in Orlando June 14-16, booth 636.
